This work is the result of a new technique which I have developed for spinning porcelain casting slips into various moulds producing a unique, translucent egg-shell bowl each time.

It is inspired by exploring contemporary applications of industrial techniques.

The essence of this work is to capture the feeling of movement within the simplicity of form.

The recent series has been experimenting with combining Bone china and Porcelain together in the same piece, exploiting the inevitable distortions that occur.
